Role & Responsibilities
- Take briefs from the producers and turn the brief/ script into an engaging animation video.
- Creating the angle, content, and tone according to needs of the client and audience for each video.
- Conceptualizing and designing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements.
- Creating character sketches for new animations based on design briefs.
- Developing storyboards for animation projects.
- Developing timing and pacing of motion based on audio requirements.
- Collaborating with the creative time, including designers, photographers and other animators, to finalize and complete projects.
- Research various design techniques to provide accurate designs for requested animations.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
KRAs:
- The number of videos delivered as per the deadlines.
- Quality check on each animation video delivered.
- Visual innovation in animation for social formats
- Assist and contribute to the ideation and development of new forms of animation content.
- Platforms for which videos need to be created:
- YouTube
- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Non-mainstream social channels, as they pick up, including Telegram, Reddit, etc.
- Branded blogs and websites
- OTT Platforms (in partnership with brands)
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in video editing and animation for brands
- Hands-on knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- Strong visuals aesthetics and design sense for social media platforms
- An ability to work in a team with good communication skills.
- Proven ability to draw across different types of artistic styles.
- Ability to work independently as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple animation projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines.
