Rollout of 5G services across India – 12 October

India is all set to roll out the first phase of 5G services on 12 October (expected date), covering 13 major cities. The National Broadband Mission (NBM) announced that PM Narendra Modi will be launching 5G services at the India Mobile Congress (IMC), which is also India’s largest technology exhibition, in New Delhi.

5G services will account for nearly one-third of the connections across India, taking the economy to $455 billion by 2040.
